Hot Topics in Debt – 10:00 am to 11:00 am
In general, 2022 has been a volatile time in the capital markets. The municipal debt market has been no exception. This presentation will discuss the major themes impacting the debt capital markets, including sustained elevated levels of inflation, increases in the federal funds rate, and foreign conflict. Presenters will provide an update on taxable refundings, forward delivery refundings, and direct loans. Finally, we will provide updates related to the credit rating process and recently proposed methodology changes. REGISTER HERE

Economic Update: First Half of 2022 and STAR Ohio – 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm
Attendees will receive an update on the markets and STAR Ohio. Presenters will explain how recent developments may impact the duties of fiscal officers. Information will cover topics like interest rates, economic challenges, news and events, regulatory reform, and asset allocation. REGISTER HERE

Cyber Security and Emerging Threats – 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
This session will cover fraud and its various forms, such as business email compromise (BEC), payment fraud, and other types of check fraud. Additionally, participants will receive an overview of current and emerging threats, detailing best practices to reduce risk for local governments and other organizations. REGISTER HERE
