Attendees

As of today, we are expecting 75 of the 88 Ohio treasurers and many staff from counties across the state. We have 188 treasurers, county staff, vendors, and spouses expected over the three-day conference.

Here is the list of 2022 Spring Conference Attendees for your review.

Arrival & Parking

When you arrive at the Doubletree, pull into the alcove at the main entrance and check in first. Request a ticket for the parking garage, which will give you a discounted rate of $8.00 per day and in-and-out privileges. The garage is across the street with a sky bridge above the street to the hotel.

  • BOOTH ASSIGNMENT:  We do our best to assign space to avoid placing competing businesses next to each other but sometimes that is impossible due to the volume of vendors with similar businesses. We appreciate your understanding. View the tentative Map of Vendor Tables here.

  • EXHIBIT INSTALLATION & REMOVAL: Installation of exhibits will be from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Dismantling should be done no later than 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 26th. Vendors may remove their booth materials after Wednesday night.

  • DOOR PRIZES: Exhibitors are welcome to bring door prizes.  Exhibitors are responsible for collecting business cards at their tabletops and conducting a drawing to determine the winner. CTAO is willing to announce the winners at the conclusion of the conference. In the event winner is not present, it is the exhibitor’s responsibility to deliver/ship the item to the winner.

Conference Highlights

Monday Night: Casual Happy Hour

CTAO President Alex Zumbar is hosting a casual welcome reception in the 330 Bar and Grill at the hotel on Monday night as we all arrive for the conference. We'll be providing appetizers and beverages throughout the night. This is a great way to introduce yourself to our vendors and get reacquainted with fellow CTAO members. Stop by when you get checked in and say hello!

Tuesday Night: Gervasi Vineyard

Transportation will be provided to Gervasi Vineyard Tuesday evening. This is a beautiful venue with delicious Italian food. We'll be outdoors in the Pavilion, a permanent roofed structure and the weather is looking favorable for our evening. After dinner you'll have time to visit with friends and colleagues or explore the vineyard's grounds.

Wednesday Night: Pro Football Hall of Fame Dinner & Private Museum Visit

Charter buses will transport us to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and we'll have the HOF to ourselves to explore. We'll have dinner together in their event space, and then have time to visit the museum exhibits. The HOF is keeping the gift shop open for us AND providing us with a 20% discount coupon. Feel free to wear your favorite NFL team's gear to the event! We'll provide shuttle service starting after dinner for those that might not want to stay the entire evening.

Bring a Jacket

Please remember, meeting rooms can be cold, so we encourage you to bring a sweater or jacket with you each day to the education sessions and evening activities.

The conference wraps up at 12:15 pm on Thursday with grab-and-go lunches.

We're looking forward to seeing you at the Doubletree by Hilton in downtown Canton!
